As if there isn't a big enough problem with police brutality in this world. This time it was all caught on tape. A 15 year old female was brought in for holding and well let's just say Chris Brown ain't got nothing on this IDIOT. The officer was charged with assault.
Since I first heard this song in the club last week, it's been stuck in my head ever since.
If Jamie himself didn't get one f*cking endorsement from any one of those alcohol companies for this song, this video is sure fire that someone in Hollywood likes them a Jamie. Check the new video for his single "Blame It".
Just when I thought this week wasn't ever gonna end DJ Manifest is making it up to you with yet another musical journey with his house and dance mix. Listen below or download now.
There are really no words to describe the way I am feeling right about now. This is quite the statement and let it be known from now that this is completely unacceptable. I don't care what she may have done or not done, there is no valid reason for this foolery.
And it's beautiful. Came in a really neat box. And unlike unruly Ebay pirates the shipping was right on the money... Literally. Thanks IRIS for a purchase well made.
Directed by TOFLO.com's favorite director Stirling, loving the visuals. The artist never heard of him until now. The video definitely is on some dope vibe, the track I'll reserve to comment but Shane you do some beautiful work! Keep 'em coming.
Hot out of the Universal camp, K-OS' new video 4 3 2 1. Really digging the creative in this one... the track, umm waiting for Fat Lip from the Pharcyde to surprise me and spit a verse. LOL, all jokes aside nice vibe and really looking forward to K-OS' next album release.
By way of www.firstladymgmt.com a new mixtape for your MP3 players. Mixed by DJ Pump of Eh! Team DJs, I swear I haven't heard these tunes in over a decade. My eardrums are really loving you right now P!
I mean, we are all for controversy these days... After all isn't that what makes our world go 'round?
This was the cartoon image posted in today's New York post in response to the newly signed Stimulus Bill, that claims the Bill was so badly written it might as well have been written by monkeys. Racist much? O-B-V-I-O-U-S-L-Y!
This is just crossing all types of lines and you guys [NY POST] deserve to be shitted on by everyone including the President himself. I hope you guys realize that this type of imagery is completely unacceptable, in this day in age. What the hell do you guys do over there? Get it together please for the sake of all humanity!
Because I can appreciate the time and patience it took to put something like this together. I love you JESTER... you're definitely the man for this one. Some soul-soothing seduction tunes for you to get your love on.
Though we wouldn't consider this a mixtape by any means, download the quasi-album "So Far Gone" now. Oh did we mention it was FREE! Ah yeah we can dig that! Enjoy!
Despite all the rumors and wild media-spread attention, we have received official word from Ms. Keshia Chante's management team that Chante was no way involved in this outrageous melee. See official email received by TOFLO.com staff yesterday [at] 2:45 PM.
Dear toflodotcom,
Your site ran a story claiming that Keshia was involved with the recent Chris Brown/Rihanna incident. Keshia was in no way involved and we ask that you please run a correction or retraction. Below is the official statement from Miss Chante’s manager, Mona Scott-Young / Monami Entertainment:
“It has been reported that recording artist/actress Keshia Chante was involved with the alleged domestic dispute involving Chris Brown and Rihanna on Sunday morning 2/8 in Los Angeles. Management has definitively clarified that Keshia Chante was not involved in any way nor was she with Chris Brown or Rihanna at any point during the alleged incident.”
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
My thoughts, well now that the spotlight has moved off of Keshia and onto Leona Lewis... you know what, let me stop right there. I don't need anymore of these emails coming our way. And a lil' tid but for ya, shit if you didn't know who Keshia Chante was before... you sure as hell should know now, HAH. Next for Chante, the Aaliyah bio-pic *we hope*.
So out in the Twitter world, this Chris Brown and Rhianna story has been running rampant with all sorts of rumors. From Rhi giving CB an STD, to CB beating Rhi with a deadly weapon (which allegedly was his fist *wink, wink), to now a third wheel seating in the backseat of the rented Lambo who witnessed the whole fiasco take place. Who is this 3rd wheel you ask? Apparently it just so happens to be Canadian R&B singer Keshia Chante.
Again, all hear-say but shoot it's not like they picked her name out of a hat. Her name must be coming up for one reason or another. So with that said, I am just gonna add a few things that could possibly signal that there was a lovers pursuit between the two young pups starting from way back when.
Keshia Chante sending a special message to CB.
Keshia and CB getting their flirt on.
And to seal the deal, Keshia making her cameo in CB's video "Shortie Like Mine".
That's my $0.02. Until the real story comes to light, I am gonna leave this alone RIGHT NOW.
This post Definitely falls in the "WTF?" category. Like most people, this was a total shock.
Really? Chris Brown? He looks so soft! How could he? I STILL Don't believe it. I'm sure we will find out the full details surrounding this incident in days to come. Brace yourselves people...
UPDATE [at] 11:59am! Video: Chris Brown gets booked!
Excerpt from; "E! News Online"
"...Brown, 19, turned himself in at the Wilshire station around 7 p.m., hours after police announced he was the subject of an investigation for felony domestic battery. Sources tell E! News that the alleged victim was Rihanna, 20, and that she had visible bruises on her face. Both in turn balked on scheduled Grammy performances..."
Ok. I know some people maybe like, "What the eff was she thinking?" but, really though... Do You Know Who MIA is? She is Fierce, Young, Fearless!
"M-I-A is my HEROess!" for the sole reason, she is a leader in her demographic. She seized an opportunity that she knew may quite be Once-in-A-Life time... Even if that meant she would have to perform on the birthdate (due date) of her first child. (click here for more).
She is a Rock-Godess! An artist in the truest form!
"Ode to Maya"
Being a graph artist by trade, she has also dabbled in documentary making. In music, she began by experimenting in production, creating and distributing her own mix-tape and singles. Maya was born in the U.K., her parents were devote and active separatists of the tamil rebellion in her native Sri Lanka.
Her mission is clear. She is here to stay, and will keep bringing us hits for many more years to come... She's just getting started!

For all those who follow the Canadian version of the Grammys, the Junos have just released their nominees for their 2009 broadcast on March 29, 2009 (hosted by one of Toronto's greatest comedians Russell Peters), today.
Take a look-see, from the vibe I am getting off Twitter not everyone on there deserves to be. And hey, who can you blame when it's a buddy-buddy nomination system. Don't get mad, next year just make sure you write your Dear Junos letters to nominate your artist / friend / wanna-be-artist. It's easy! HAH!
Robin Thicke's new single release "Dreamworld" seems like he's bringing it back to the all soulful Robin we know when he came out with "The Evolution of Robin Thicke". I really like it! The third studio-release album didn't resonate well with me - but hey here's one track that stuck.
Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come in '09. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
